For those who asked to see a picture of the tv in place, here it is:
This is also the mantle shelf that David and I built weekend before last. Like everything we’ve built in the last three months, it needs to be painted. I’m half ignoring it right now with the intention of inviting Mom up to help out with stuff like that in the spring. By then I expect there’ll be a bunch more (I have more plans for the living room, as well as some stuff for my office and bedroom). She’s complained about not being able to help, so here’s her chance. Be careful what you wish for, right?
Anyway, the components sitting on the end table in front of the fireplace need to be moved, of course, and they will be just as soon as buy.com sends me my remote extender.
