No Go
Mike’s unable to come this afternoon, so there’ll be no progress on the deck until Wednesday at the earliest, and more likely next Saturday. In the meantime, I’m going to take some of the remaining wood to him at work, so that he can do as much work as he can in preparation for when he can come back. Basically, we’re talking about the 4×4 hand rail posts and the cross pieces for the 6×6 columns (which have already gone through a minor design revision).
In the end, it’ll be another week or so before things are buttoned up. That kind of sucks, especially after I was all keyed up to have the deck finished tonight.
