Twinkle Twinkle

Even though I don’t want kids of my own, I do like kids. I just really like being able to send them back to their parents when the shiny wears off. My niece and nephew are awesome, and so is Dave & Dawn’s little girl, Meridian.

I find the key change near the middle of the song especially cute.

For those who are unable to speak Meridianese, here’ the translation:

Twinkle twinkle, little star. How ’bout you go up, I go down.

As Dave pointed out, “There’s an odd sort of logic to her lyrics…. I mean, she does, indeed, go to bed when the stars come out.”

Who can argue with that?
