Happy Valentine’s Day
I’m still alive… work’s just kicking my ass.
D.I.N.E.R.O.
Our day of geekery produce much fruit. There’s still plenty to do, but I’m confident David would say that we got most of the heavy lifting done. The database is finished and he made good progress on the SQL we’ll need to make everything go. There were moments of confusion between us both, but as usual, we worked well together.
I smiled inside more than a few times as we both click-clacked on our keyboards in total silence, him banging out php code, while I toiled rustily over my hand-coded html. When he had an opportunity to explain something about why and what he was doing, he did and I picked up some strategic stuff today that I’ll be able to use in the future.
There’s some more php that needs to be written, and then I’ll handle the visual styling of everything. I’m not sure how much longer we’ll be, but I can’t imagine it’ll be too much longer before it’s finished.
